FAQs: Public Records & Information

How can I obtain a transcript of court proceedings?

The Transcript Order Form and Instructions are available online. If you are ordering a transcript for the purpose of requesting review of your case, you may be eligible for a waiver of the transcript cost. Please see rule 1311 of the Rules of Practice and the court's instructions for filing a request for a waiver for more information.

Are court proceedings public?

Almost all proceedings are public. However, a few cases or proceedings are confidential. If you wish to observe court proceedings, it is suggested that you contact the Court to find out if scheduled proceedings on the date desired are public or not.
